Muslim for the simple fact there are more of them then there are of an y other religion, but then all religions are the same. Their only different because different people wanted their own way. Effectively there are more Christians in the world then Muslims, however there is no "world" religion and there shouldn't be, all religion need a comparison otherwise religion could change without any notice, think of it as a monopoly.
This is more of a religion question. In my religion (Mormon) we go to a spirit world, and then to heaven.

The world may be more willing to accept people who are different if it wasn't for religion. On the other hand, religion could be preventing people from doing things that may be considered worse.
