One being better would be a matter of opinion. Look into each provider's website and at their pay plans, including the fine print, to see which is best for you.
Dish Network performed better when I was in an area that had no cable compared to DirecTV.
The two major satellite companies in the United States are Dish Network and DirecTV. Which provider is the best is up for debate, as each provider has their own unique pros and cons (Dish Network has free HD for life, but less channels; DirecTV had a larger selection of channels but you have to pay for HD). You can research each of the companies for whichever you think would be best for you.
A sky dish is a satellite dish that is used by companies such as Dish Network or DirecTV to receive their satellite signals. They are usually mounted on your home and pointed in the direction of the company's satellite.
It looks like ETEX is your bext option unless you go with a satellite provider like Dish network or DirecTv.
DirecTV wants the satellite dish there so of any new tents come they have the dish, but you cab call Directv to cone and remove out for your of you no longer have DirecTV. But if you have never been a customer DirecTV won't remove it you will have to pay so some one can remove for you.
Each satellite TV dish can be a different shape depending on what provider you have. Dish Network satellites are more round -- the reason they are round is to get the best possible signal using the LNB (a device attached to the dish) and the specific curvature of the dish; since all TV, Cable and satellite providers use some form of satellite to get your programming each dish is a slightly different shape depending upon what satellite they are pointing to in the sky.
You should be able to switch between Dish Network and Directv as long as you did not leave in bad standing with either satellite provider (e.g. unpaid balance, or failed to return satellite equipment when disconnected).
When your satellite TV provider is Dish Network and you are looking for the Lifetime channel, simply go to channel 108 on your TV and you'll be able to locate Lifetime.

"Dish Network has been my satellite provider for the past three years, and it's been great. I haven't lost my signal one time, even through storms." "Well, I've bounced around a little bit. Right now, I'm with DirecTV after having problems with Dish Network for quite a while. I'd say go with DirecTV as your satellit provider."
