When Fuzziwig went bankrupt (in a similar way to that of Dickens own father John) Scrooge saw that being nice nealtry always ended in loss of friends and family this is then endorsed when Belle ends their engagement when Scrooge works continually to earn more money
I think his name is Ebaneezer Scrooge. So it would be Scrooge.scrooge's last name is scrooge. His first name is Ebenezer.
The major characters are: * Ebenezer Scrooge, miser * Bob Cratchit, Scrooge's clerk * Jacob Marley, his later partner * The Four Ghosts * Tiny Tim Cratchit, a crippled boy * Fred Scrooge, his nephew
It was never really stated but some think she died in child birth and his father remarried
Bah! Humbug! (I think!)
The accountant in "A Christmas Carol" is Bob Cratchit. He is employed by Ebenezer Scrooge and is responsible for keeping track of Scrooge's financial affairs.
To thank him and wish him a Merry Christmas
"You were always a good friend to me," said Scrooge. "Thank'ee!" "You will be haunted," resumed the Ghost, "by Three Spirits." Scrooge's countenance fell almost as low as the Ghost's had done. "Is that the chance and hope you mentioned, Jacob?" he demanded, in a faltering voice. "It is." "I-I think I'd rather not," said Scrooge. "Without their visits," said the Ghost, "you cannot hope to shun the path I tread. Expect the first to-morrow, when the bell tolls One." "Couldn't I take 'em all at once, and have it over, Jacob?" hinted Scrooge.
For one thing, Fred has a positive outlook on life, unlike his uncle, and may think that Scrooge is still capable of reform. Fred also believes that it is ethical for him, as a Christian, to extend hospitality to Ebenezer, especially at Christmas, even if the old man refuses it.
The book never says. Fred, in all of his conversations with anyone, never mentions his parents, only that he is the nephew of Ebenezer. The only information we get is in the conversation between Ghost of Christmas Past and Scrooge, talking about Ebenezer's sister, Fan: "Always a delicate creature, whom a breath might have withered. But she had a large heart. ... She died a woman ... and had, as I think, children" "One child." "True. Your nephew." "Yes."
Scrooge thought he saw a locomotive hearse going on before him in the gloom.
Well, Scrooge's girlfriend is Belle. Belle left Scrooge because he was becoming, well, a scrooge, a penny-pincher, a greedy man. I don't believe he actually gets back with her; I think she marries someone else. It's sad.
Scrooge engages more with what's happening,he is not starting to break don't his cold exterior
