On a 2000 Lincoln LS : The fill for the fuel tank is on the PASSENGER SIDE of the vehicle The fuel tank is under the vehicle , it is almost like 2 smaller tanks that are joined together at the top . The JET PUMP transfers fuel from the drivers side of the tank to the passenger side where the FUEL PUMP for the engine is located
in the fuel tank ON THIS VEHICLE IT IS A MECHANICAL PUMP. NOT IN THE TANK- ON THE SIDE OF THE ENGINE.
Inboard would be towards the center of the vehicle.
On my 1995 Ford Explorer : The fuel tank is underneath the vehicle , on the drivers side , and is mounted lengthwise on the vehicle
the fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle on the passengers side frame rail just in front of the tank. follow the fuel line on the passengers side from the tank.
The fuel filter is mounted under the vehicle on the right side in front of the gas tank. The fuel filter is mounted under the vehicle on the right side in front of the gas tank. look behind the heat / rock shield.
Under vehicle, driver side, below trunk area, mounted on side of fuel tank in fuel line.
