The smaller opening would be the pressure side.
Wales have left-side traffic and right side steering.
When turning a PWC steering cable right it will go left. If you turn it left it will go right.
From left to right, the pedals always go clutch, brake, accelerator regardless of which side of the car the steering wheel is on.

Turn the wheel ALL the way to the right and then ALL the way to the left a few times. This will force air out of the lines. Top off the power steering reservoir when you are done.
It's right in the front on top. It goes from the Power steering pump towards the left side and then goes down, when you are facing the car

A Trailblazer that squeaks only when turning to the left could have a problem with the steering or front wheel bearing. Turning to the left puts the right pressure on the parts to cause them to squeak.
The back of the PWC is pushed to the left when a PWC's steering control is turned to the right.
