i hope you don't mind that I'll add some extra history into this too... World War 2 started when Germany attacked Poland unexpectedly and France and England declared war on Germany for it. So Poland was on the side of the Allies which included The USSR, America,England,France,China,Australia, New Zealand, and others.

∙ 8y agoPoland was occupied by the Axis Nazi Forces but were allied with the Allied Forces led by the Brits, US and USSR (French too). Poland as per the Soviet German Nonaggression Pact occupied the eastern half of Poland.
