Teddy's mother is concerned that Rikki-tikki might bite Teddy
The climax is when he enters the hole of Nagaina and comes out alive and proud.
The most evident hyperbole comes from the, slightly scatterbrained tailor-bird, Darzee who, in Darzee's Chant , refers to Rikki-tikki (after he kills Nagaina) as... "Rik-tikki-tikki, the ivory-fanged, the hunter with eye-balls of flame."
when Rikki tikki tavi finds out that nag and nagaina have eaten darzee's baby. This drives the story forward and is the whole reason Rikki tikki tavi and the snakes get into a fight. If you are referring to the Kipling short story, and it is not rendered Ricky-Tikki Tocky!sounds like a runaway alarm clock it deals with a conflict between a Mongoose and a snake, probably a Cobra giving the Indian Locale. modern biologists have punctured the whole fabric, it is purely mythical. It probabklyg could not happen in real life, the Mongoose does not normally engage snakes. when nag fights Rikki.
His courage and stubbornness.
Rikki-Tikki catches up to Nagina and "clenches" his teeth on her tail as she dives into the rat-hole where she lived with Nag and Nagina drags him in with her even as Rikki-Tikki stuck out his feet to act as brakes. After he disappears into the hole, Darzee, the Tailorbird begins to sing a death-song for Rikki - anticipating that Nagina will manage to turn around somewhere in the hole and bite Rikki-Tikki, but just as he gets to the most mournful part, Rikki-Tikki emerges from the hole, announces that Nagina is dead (he won) and goes off to take a well deserved nap.

In "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" by Rudyard Kipling, it is Darzee, the tailorbird, who shows great courage in helping Rikki-Tikki. Despite his initial fear of the cobras Nag and Nagaina, Darzee bravely provides information about their plans and even distracts Nagaina during the climactic battle. His willingness to assist Rikki-Tikki, despite the danger, exemplifies his courageous spirit and loyalty to his friend.

Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is the mongoose who plays the most significant role in getting rid of Nag and Nagaina in the story. His bravery, cunning, and determination contribute to their downfall by outsmarting and outmaneuvering the cobras.
