It is much easier to name which states do border Canada. Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine all border Canada.

There are many states that do not border Canada, including California and Nevada. Texas, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, and Illinois do not border Canada either.
