I am not sure what to say to this to be correctly. I can say that drug treatments help many of people to get off drugs.
There is no way to prevent peritonitis, since the diseases it accompanies are usually not under the voluntary control of an individual. However, prompt treatment can prevent complications
An officer can coach a suspect as to what to write in a voluntary statement, as long as the statement is the words of the suspect. The officer cannot force the suspect to write anything that is not the suspect's words
Electro-Convulsive Treatment, it is when seizures are induced by electric shocks to treat mental health illnesses such as Bipolar, severe depression that does not respond to medication, and early stages of Parkinson's.In the modern version, the patient is given drugs to cause sleep and immobilize the voluntary muscles (so they won't flail about and injure themselves) before the shocks are applied to the brain thru the skull. Before effective psychiatric medications were available this (and Insulin Shock Treatment, which produces the same effects but by giving a deliberate insulin overdose) were widely used to treat anything and everything as well as being used as punishment when patients made trouble. Patients were awake and restrained with leather straps, often broken bones and other injuries resulted. The treatment acquired a very bad reputation. However when properly applied in the limited range of situations where it is appropriate it is very effective. Its most common side effect is limited memory loss.
According to the Free Dictionary, the right to fair treatment includes the fair selection and treatment of subjects during the course of a research study. Principles governing fairness include informed voluntary decision by the subjects to participate and selection according to criteria directly related to the study rather than according to artificial social or cultural biases. Because animals never give informed voluntary consent to participate in experiments, they can't be considered as being treated fairly.

The Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services (DMHMRSAS) and the private non-profit hospital community, with specialty hospitals in Maine providing inpatient psychiatric treatment, agree to work collaboratively toward ensuring that adults in Maine requiring psychiatric inpatient treatment receive such treatment in the optimal clinical setting available. The goal of this collaboration is to provide both voluntary and involuntary inpatient psychiatric treatment in a setting that meets the clinical needs of the individual and, whenever possible, is located within the individual's geographic area. The clinical needs of the individual and the availability of hospital beds may preclude the assurance that all individuals will be hospitalized within their geographic areas. sambrown Maine Alcohol Addiction Treatment
