depending what kind of hermet crab you like to buy and where you live id say petland
Some local pet stores may carry the strawberry hermit crabs. As of 2014 these crabs can also be purchased online at locations including Live Hermit Crabs and Reptile City.
I believe maybe at PetLand. Also, at sometimes of the year they have a little hermet crab booth in St. Vital mall.
There used to be stands or booths were they sell hermit crabs at the mall well at least they do that at my mall not sure if they do that at other malls You could also check your local pet store...they are bound to have some there : )
yes
no they could but they don't
Pet stores
You can get them at local hermit crab ( pet stores ). You can get it at stores that sell hermit crabs. Commercial brand foods for hermit crabs aren't good for them. Feed them a variety of food that you would eat. Food that you buy in the store has harmful preservatives and does not have enough nutrients that the hermit crab needs..
some walmarts sell them, but u are better off going to a pet store for better quality. they dont live as long from walmart.

Hermit crabs are scavengers so in the wild they will climb trees to eat insects and will eat fallen fruit from trees. in captivity you should have a food bowl and change the food once a day. the food you should be fruit and veggies.
The store Advanced Electronics in Winnipeg sells several electronics including iPods, TV's, cell phones, cameras, audio, and home theater systems. They also offer installation on several of their products.
Currently the best place to buy hermit crabs is from pet stores. Small stores have a better likelyhood of their crabs being treated humanely as large chains often have poor conditions. Mall kiosks are usually a very undesireable place to purchase them, as there is often very little in the way of supplies for your crabs and there is also a good chance they have been in very poor conditions leading to ill or permanently damaged crabs that will not live long. The same for tourist shop and beachfront strip malls. If the crabs have been kept in a wire cage (which is very common in these kinds of places) and exposed to the air and temperatures, the chance is they will die rather soon, usually within a few weeks of purchase. Make sure to research the proper habitat, temps, humidity, and feeding and water treatment for hermit crabs before you purchase them. Do NOT depend on pet stores to know what you will need, they are often very uneducated on the care of hermit crabs, and their job is just to sell you "stuff". Most of the "stuff" available in pet stores for hermit crabs is not safe for them, and not what they need. Visit the crab care section at a reputable forum website where very experienced crabbers frequent, such as http://www.hermitcrabparadise.com or http://www.crabstreetjournal.com
you can try and post it in the newspaper or try and sell it.
