Unless Verizon is having a promotional deal with a lower price on their cell phones, it is usually cheaper to buy one of their phones on eBay, and on other websites selling different types of cell phones. Sometimes stores like Target, Walmart and other department stores will sell Verizon phones as well.

∙ 10y agoThere are several sources of Verizon cell phones. In addition to Verizon stores, consider looking at kiosks in many stores such as Best Buy. Costco, if you have one nearby, usually has a Verizon kiosk that offers good prices.

∙ 11y agoI say it would be easier to buy a used phone, than to buy one refurbished. It would be cheaper and it would work well enough. You would probably pay more in all for the refurbished phone. You could just buy a used one because, they only buy phones that work and since their used you'll get a discount.
