Retina
the structure of the eye which controls the diameter of the pupil
The retina is the part of the eye that converts light energy into electrical signals. Specialized cells called photoreceptors within the retina, known as rods and cones, are responsible for this conversion process. The electrical signals are then transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve for visual processing.
