Terminal one for all arrivals from anywhere. "Terminal 2" is simply a check-in area.Calling it a terminal causes a lot of confusion, as once you've checked in there you catch an underground train to terminal one to board your flight. No flights arrive at terminal 2.
By train. There is a train station in the South Terminal building with direct services to Victoria. The Gatwick Express is a fast well-appointed service. Southern Trains also run a service that takes about 20 minutes longer and costs half as much. If you arrive at the North Terminal, there is a rapid transport (monorail) system that takes you the the train station in South Terminal.
When you arrive at the airport, go to the relevant terminal, where a valet will be waiting for you. Leave your car with the professional valet. He will take your vehicle and park it at the safe parking space. When you return your car will be waiting for you at the terminal.
Flybe is currently the only airline that operates this route and they operate at T3.
