If using PowerPoint you can use "Insert" form the menu bar. Click on "New Slide" and then click on "Format" from the menu bar and choose "Layout". You will have the option to choose either a "Title Slide" or "Title Only" slide. Then enter your desired text into the title box given.

The following are the different layouts available in PowerPoint 1 The Title Slide layout is the default layout when you open a blank presentation in PowerPoint. It comprises two text placeholders: the first for the presentation title and the second for a subtitle. 2 The Title and Content layout is the most commonly-used layout. It comprises a title placeholder and a content placeholder.
