Solids, Liquids, and gases.
inert gases
The most abundant elements in air are nitrogen, oxygen, and argon. The gases typically excluded from this list are carbon dioxide, helium, and neon.
All planets have gases, they are just elements that happen to be in the air vs in the water or in the ground. Although there are gases that can be found in both I believe.
air
Nitrogen and oxygen are two of the primary gases that make up air. The third is argon.
The elements helium, copper, neon and argon are commonly referred to as noble gases. These are mainly obtained from air in an air separation unit.
air
just about every kind of gas but the main is nitrogen then oxygen if you look on the peroidic table of elements there will be a group called the noble gases those are the gases in the air
There are numerous gases in the air ranging from nitrogen at 78% to gasses represented at only a few parts per million. The three major gases in dry air are nitrogen (78%), oxygen (21%) and argon (1%). Water in moist air may be present at several percent.
Air is a mixture of gases, predominantly nitrogen (about 78%), oxygen (around 21%), and trace gases like argon and carbon dioxide. These gases are constantly moving and interacting in the atmosphere, creating the air we breathe.
