Radio wave travel faster than sound wave.
Radio wave is the same as light wave except at different wavelength. It travel at speed of light (3 x 108 m/s). Sound wave travel at only 330 m/s and probably can go up to 3,300 m/s in solid medium which is far slower than the speed of light.
Light travels in waves, and sound travels in waves. However, sound waves and light waves are very different, and it is important not to confuse the two. Light travels in electromagnetic waves, and sound does not. Sound waves are caused by vibration.
Sound travels in longitudinal waves.
Sound travels in waves.
Waves
Sound is something that travels in waves and we hear with our ears.
Waves, sound-waves
Sound travels through a medium, which can be solid, liquid, or gas. In solids, sound waves travel the fastest, followed by liquids, and then gases. In space, where there is no medium, sound cannot travel.
Sound travels because of the sound waves.
Sound; light and other electromagnetic waves; gravitational waves.
Sound travels to us through compression waves in the air. These waves are created by vibrations produced by a source, such as a speaker or instrument. As the waves travel through the air, they cause changes in pressure that our ears can detect and interpret as sound.
Both light and sound travel. Light travels the fastest.
Sound travels in waves through a medium, such as air, water, or solid materials. When an object vibrates, it creates changes in air pressure that propagate outward as waves. These waves cause particles in the medium to oscillate back and forth, transmitting the sound energy.
