America is not a tribe, but rather a group of pilgrims and settlers who came to this country seeking an advancement or betterment on there current lives. The Indian tribes who lived in America before the settlers did not have one single name as each tribe was made of different groups of people with different beliefs. If you're speaking of the ice age people then there are no definitive answers as no one can came to a decisive conclusion as to which group of people, and from where, arrived in America first.
