All of the contiguous US falls between 24.52° and 49.38° North Latitude.
There is no official standard set of 'lines'. Some maps and globes show more lines,
some have fewer of them, and some have none at all. You can draw a line at any
latitude on your map or globe. All it takes is a pencil.
49°N and 24°31′15.02″N.
In pertaining to the "Robinson Projection Map" the best answer is: between 30°N and 45°N.
There is an infinite number of lines of latitude. They start at zero degrees (the equator) and all fall between 90 degrees south and 90 degrees north.
The 48 contiguous states lie between longitudes of 49¡23'4.1' N (Northwest Angle, Minnesota) and 24¡31' 26' N (Ballast Key, Florida). The latitudes are 66¡57' W (Sail Rock, Maine) and 124¡46' W (Bodelteh Islands offshore from Cape Alava, Washington).
ALL of the territory in the contiguous 48 states is locatedbetween 24.521° and 49.384° North latitude.Hawaii adds 18.911° to 22.235° North.Alaska adds 51.216° to 71.389° North. There's no telling what lines may be printed on the map or globe that you happen to belooking at.Don't fall into the widespread trap of thinking that there is some official set of 'lines'.You would not ask "What two marks on the ruler is your height located between ?"You would ask "How tall are you ?"

The latitude at the center of Mecca is roughly 21.416° North. The city is locatedbetween any more northerly latitude and any more southerly one.Different editions, publications, and printings of Mercator projections havedifferent numbers of latitude and longitude 'lines' printed on them, spacedat different intervals. There is no standard set of 'lines', just as there is nostandard set of marks on rulers. In addition, the latitude of a place is the latitude of that place, and does notdepend on the style of the map on which it appears.Again regarding the 'lines', my mapping software can print 324,000 lines of latitudeon the screen ... a line every 0.00055... degree ... if I decide I need them. The latitude at the center of the Qaaba is 21° 25' 21.01" North. If I were to activate all of the latitude lines that are available to me, then thatlandmark would fall between the lines at 21° 25' 20" North and 21° 25' 22" North, which are about 62 meters apart.Other points in Mecca all have different latitudes.

The "lower 48" contiguous states cover the range of latitude between 24.52° and 49.38° North. In addition, Alaska covers the range from 54.64° to 71.39° North, and Hawaii covers 18.91° to 22.24° North. Any 'line' you want to draw within those ranges crosses some territory in the US. The question is a lot like asking: "How many marks are there on the ruler that fall along the width of this sheet of paper ?" Don't get hung up on 'lines'. Latitude is an angle, between the equator and the place you're interested in. Some maps and globes print a few labeled lines at some latitudes, and some don't. The number of lines printed on different maps or globes is not always the same. Some have a line printed every 30 degrees, some have a line every 15 degrees, and some have a line printed every 10 degrees. There is no standard set of 'lines', and some maps and globes have no lines printed on them at all. A 'line' can be printed at any latitude you choose, like the one through your kitchen. There is no "How many ?" of them.

The southern tip of Florida is at 25N, while the US/Canada border is generally along the 49N line. (There's a little spike of Minnesota that sticks up north of that.) Most of the continental US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) are within those lines.
The equator is the definition of "Zero latitude".
I Dont Know Why Don't You Tell Me? Luv Val T.
The answer depends onwhether or not the lines represent strict inequalities, what the shaded area represents.
The northernmost point in the contiguous 48 (near Angle Inlet MN) is 49.38° NThe southernmost point in the contiguous 48 (Ballast Key, FL) is 24.52° NThe north/south extent of the 'lower 48' contiguous states is 24.86 degrees. The northernmost point in Alaska (Nuwuk, 9.8 mi northeast of Barrow) is 71.39° NThe southernmost point in Hawaii (12.2 mi southwest of Naalehu) is 18.91° NThe north/south extent of all 50 states is 52.48 degrees.
