Bread And Wine
the body is the body of jesus and blood is jesus blood... ! :))
Jesus was born with a body and blood.
Jesus's blood is the cup of wine and the bread is his body
During the concecration of the Eucharist during the mass, the bread and wine becomes the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
Holy Mass
The bread and wine are a physical reminder to the Christian of the actual body and blood of Jesus which was both broken (the body) and shed (the blood) for them. Since the reminder relates to the savior, who is precious to all Christians, this meal has great value. It is usually a solemn remembrance since it was begun by Jesus 'on the night He was betrayed.' This brings time for thought on why He had to die as well as thankfulness that He went through such terrible agony on our behalf.
Some demoninations believe that the bread and wine of Jesus actually were from the body and blood of Jesus. Other demoninations believe that it is just a representation of blood and body, and it was just bread and wine. There are other differences I can't name off-hand.
According to ICorinthians 11:24-25, The Body and Blood of Jesus is celebrated in order for Christians to "remember" Jesus and His Significance to them. He gave His Body as a living sacrifice And, Jesus shed His Life's Blood for the forgiveness of Christians sins( those who have appropriated it to their life)
his body and blood (bread and wine)
It began with the last supper. He broke the bread which represented His body, and poured the wine which represented His blood. Jesus commanded that his disciples eat and drink in remembrance of Him.
In the christian faith it is the symbol of Jesus Christ. Jesus says "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." He also uses it as a symbol of his body during the last supper.
wine is represents the blood of Jesus, the bread is his body and it represents Jesus.
