Halogen

No longer. LED-based fluorescent lamps use a lot less electricity than halogens for similar light levels - much of the energy emitted by a halogen lamp is heat, although it is more efficient than the equivalent argon-filled incandescent lamp. (A halogen bulb is still an incandescent type - it simply uses a different gas filling from the conventional bulb.)
for the least heat I would say the LED, Light emitting diode.
Incandescent bulbs produce less lumens per watt than flourescent or any of the hi pressure type
Please don't type "the following" if you don't follow it by a list.
The light bulb types, from most efficient to least efficient, are: LEDs; fluorescent lights; incandescent lights.
From 1990 to 2000, the world's most developing economies cut the greenhouse gases emissions from energy production by about 55 percent.
Geothermal energy is a renewable source of electricity, meaning it will not run out. It does not directly produce greenhouse gas emissions.
Geothermal energy can reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by replacing energy that would have come from burning fossil fuels. It is basically a fairly clean energy source
Yes, it produces clean green electricity with no emissions. Using geothermal energy means we use less fossil fuelled energy which releases carbon dioxide into the greenhouse gases of the atmosphere.
Renewable energy produces practically no greenhouse gases, compared to fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas). Hydroelectric power has very little greenhouse gas emissions associated with it. Wind and solar power tend to have low emissions. Geothermal energy also has low emissions. Nuclear power has some greenhouse gas emissions associated with the mining and refining of uranium ore, but not a lot.

They don't really save energy, per se. They capture wind energy, which is considered a renewable resource. This reduces the need to burn fossil fuel to satisfy the same energy needs, and arguably results in lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Canon Lide is energy efficient. This product has earned an energy star and this helps prevent greenhouse gases emissions. This scanner is compatible with PC and Mac.
compact fluorescents are lowest in energy use for most houshold applications

It takes a lot of energy to make, eg, glass or aluminium out of raw materials. This energy is usually electricity generated by burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas). This is causing global warming. It takes a lot less energy to make a glass bottle or an aluminium can out of recycledglass or aluminium. So recycling reduces energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
No, you are still using energy. If you are using electricity generated from the sun then it is not releasing greenhouse gas emissions. So you are saving the world (a little bit) from global warming.
Yes, all modern transport should be running on renewable energy with no greenhouse gas emissions.
Too much greenhouse gas emissions, causing global warming and climate change. We need to change to renewable energy for everything.
Because renewable energy, like wind and solar, has no greenhouse gas emissions.
