Do xanax and lorazapam have same resukts on drug screen?
On a standard, routine urine drug screen - they will both flag
positive as benzodiazepines. If specialized testing is desired, the
sample can be processed in the lab to determine which
benzodiazepine the person has been taking. This is also true for
opioids, amphetamines, etc. But they will generally not go to the
trouble to differentiate on a routine screen, especially if you
have a prescription for one. This is less likely to be the case in
certain career fields, such as healthcare - they probably will send
the sample for additional analysis.
