Keyboards and Mice
If you are talking about computers there are a number (basically anything that collects data): Keyboard Mouse Digitizer Scanner A camera could also be considered an imput device
Without input devices, the only way to reprogram computers would be to pull them apart and rewire them. In modern computers with integrated circuits that would be impossible. Input devices, such as keyboards, make it much easier to reprogram computers with new instructions and/or data.
Computers get information through various input devices such as keyboards and barcode scanners. Also, there are devices that can be for either input or output, such as disc drives and tape drives.

Neither. A computer contains both input and output devices. Many modern input and output devices contain embedded computers, that interface between the main computer and the actual input or output hardware of the device.
Iris scanners and fingerprint scanners are alternative (biometric) input devices for computers.
No one person has been given credit for inventing input devices. These have changed over the years, but have always been necessary for getting information into computers.
Sometimes, some computers include keyboard input devices and some computers don't. It depends on the purpose of the computer.
Some common input devices are: a mouse, a keyboard, a microphone, a webcam. Common output devices are: monitor (LCD, LED, and CRT are the most common for computers), speakers, headphones, and printers.
