The renal vein carries deoxygenated blood from the kidneys to the heart.
Pulmonary vein

VeinsGenerally, yes. Veins carry deoxygenated blood to the heart. The exception is the pulmonary vein. That vein comes from the lungs and contains freshly oxygenated blood.
The Vein does not bring blood to the Heart.
The pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from the lungs back to the heart.
There are a few. The superior vena cava and inferior vena cava brings deoxygenated blood from the body to the heart. The pulmonary vein brings back oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart. There are also veins that bring back deoxygenated blood that supplied the heart such as the coronary vein.
