The Spanish civil war.

Thirty Years' War , a series of European conflicts from 1618 to 1648, fought primarily in Germany. The war started in Bohemia with a Protestant revolt against the Holy Roman Empire and eventually involved almost all of the countries of Europe. By its final years, religious issues had been submerged and it had become a struggle for power between Austria and Spain on one side and France on the other.
The main conflict was between Protestants and Catholics in the Holy Roman Empire (mostly present-day Germany). The French Protestants involved were known as Huguenots.
I would say no because think about the World wars. In the World Wars, there were 4+ countries fighting. In the American Revolution was just a war because there were only 2 countries fighting. France came to help really late. That's actually false. Dozens, if not hundreds, of countries were involved in the World Wars. At least five countries were involved in the Revolutionary War. The United States, England, France, Spain, and even Germany. And France was actually involved for a whole four years.
Great Britain was involved from the very beginning to the defeat of Germany on May 8, 1945. That was just under six years. Britain was involved from 1 September 1939 until 2 September 1945 a total of 6 years and 1 day.
A strong reluctance to become involved in future wars.
You need at least 2 years of training on top of the 4 years of education
you usually have to go for about 4 to 5 years.
The Cold War started in 1945 and it was between the USSR (Eastern Europe) and the USA (Western Europe). However it involved other countries as well, and one of them, probably the most involved, was Germany. Some years before the Cold War, Germany was responsible for suspicions between USA and the USSR. In 1939 they signed the Nazi-soviet pact, and this created great suspicion in the USA. Later, in 1945 they had become allies to fight Hitler. However, during the second world war, when Russia wanted to create a second front and the USA delayed this for three years Russians thought they had delayed it because they wanted Germany to win, so it was mostly around Germany that tensions between both countries started building up. In February 1945, when WW2 had almost finished the Yalta Conference was held and there it was decided that Germany was to be divided into four zones and Berlin would be as well. It seemed like a very good solution, however this caused many problems as time went on.

Yes, 1618-1648 are years of the Thirty Years' War, which was fought primaly on present Germany terrains and involved most of European countries (Poland was neutral).
I guess that would depend on how much of the class you sleep through.
