Tata Docomo is the first one to launch 3G in India. But sadly they don't have license for Mumbai. But reliance Mobile has. Also Reliance Mobile is gonna offer a speed of upto 28mbps which the highest in the country.

I bought an iPad for Christmas. I wasn't sure to get one with 3G right away, so went with Wi-Fi at first, but soon thought it would be better if I get a 3G on my device and I think Verizon is a better option when it comes to upgrades.
The uptake for 3G was fairly slow to begin with as there may not have been the support for the 3G system. Some of the first phones to include 3G include the Nokia 6630, the LG u880 3G, and Ericsson also released their own 3G phone.
