The Dainik Bhaskar is originally printed in the Hindi language. The Dainik Ghaskar newspaper was started in 1958, and, as of 2008, it is still running.
It was edited by Shyam Sundar Sen; and had appeared in Calcutta in 1854. What was unique was that it was a two-page paper with one page in Hindi and the other in Bengali.
