If it's carbureted you're actually looking for the "ignition module."But either way, it should be behind the distributor.
Dodge Ram 2500 car parts are compataible with dodge ram 2500. this way you know they are compatible and don't have to worry if something will not work
counter clockwise.
clockwise when you are looking at the distributor from the front of engine
to set the timing on your dodge ram look at your distibutor cap and on the left side you will see a nut that is at the base of your distributor stem when you loosen this nut you can turn you your entire distributor one way or the other all it takes is about 1/2 degree turn and then tighten it back down and try again till you get your motor running smoothly....
There is no way to answer. Some rotate clockwise, while others rotate counter clockwise. The best setting is the manufacterer reccomended setting.
it only goes on one way. as long as you havent moved your distributor you are fine. place the cap on the distributor body and rotate the cap until it sits in the little grooves made for it. Snap the 2 little metal retainers onto the little flat step and bingo. job done it only goes on one way. as long as you havent moved your distributor you are fine. place the cap on the distributor body and rotate the cap until it sits in the little grooves made for it. The distributor can be turned both ways. The rotor however, which I suspect you are asking about, turns clockwise on a small block V8.
