The hypothalamus is a small part of the brain located just below the thalamus on both sides of the third ventricle. The CEREBRUM, it is the largest region of the brain, it contains motor, sensory, and association areas.

The differences between cerebrum and cerebellum are: Cerebrum has sensory areas that interpret sensory activities, association areas that are concerned with emotional and intellectual processes like will, judgement, memory etc. It controls all voluntary activities. Cerebellum coordinates muscular activities and maintains body posture and balance.
The occipital lobe contains the primary visual areas that interpret what a person sees.
The cerebrum is not the motor command center, but it is involved in controlling voluntary movements. The primary motor cortex in the cerebrum is responsible for sending signals to the muscles to initiate movement. Other areas of the brain, such as the cerebellum and basal ganglia, also play important roles in coordinating and refining motor commands.
