the easiest way to get a signal for your system is to go to the factory sub. which is by the 3rd seat. open it and cut the wires from the speaker and go to your near by audio store and get a RCA signal converter runs around 30-40 bucks and get a RCA cable connect the red and white wires to your amp and you should get bass and if you are talking about the remote wire for your amp you will have to open your deck up with special keys and behind it there will be a remote wire. tap into that and run it to your amp.

How do you re-connect the stock amplifier to the stock subwoofer in a 2001 Lincoln Navigator?

There is plugs on the end of the speaker wires. "The wires coming from the subwoofer box. There should be to wires coming from the sub enclosure". These wires should have a plastic plug on the end that plugs in to the amplifier.

Can a Mazda 6 factory radio handle a 600 watt amp and sups?

The factory radio most likely doesn't have RCA jacks in the back, which is what you are going to want to use to hook the amplifier to the stereo to get the best quality sound. Otherwise you are going to have to wire the amplifier to the speaker wires using the high input plug that comes with the amp and you will get poor quality sound out and your subs will not have much bass (that is why it called the high input).

How do you connect a homemade surround-sound speaker system together?

If speaker systems have Amplifier (home made).... Then you just combine their inputs so that ground couples with ground and signal input wires attached to the input wires or with connector.

Where is the premium sound amplifier in a 1987 Crown Victoria?

Its in the trunk mounted on the rear seats on the passenger side should be a small metal rectagular box with all kinds of wires running to it.

How do you run an amplifier off a normal car radio?

Normal car radio is no different than aftermarket. Determine the output wires on the radio, take them into the amp and the output from the amp back to the wires going to the speakers. Normal car speakers are not going to take the output of the amp if you raise it much.

What does sound travel through to get to the amplifier?

sound travels from your source, a.k.a. in dash CD player, thru a pre-amplifier (RCA output) and then thru the rca cables that you hook up to the back of your source to the amplifier. If you are not using the pre-amp from the stereo. (RCA outputs) you can use a high level output adapter, which you connect to the speaker leads from the bacck of your source unit. The high level aka speaker level adapter changes your speaker wires on the back of your CD player to RCA outputs. from the high level adapter you then run RCA cables to your amplifier. Some amplifiers have a high level adapter built into them, which does not require the use of an external speaker level adapter, and your speaker wires can run directly into the aftermarket amplifier.

Can you improve the sound of digital speakers with monster cable?

If the wires are sized correctly for the speaker load, it doesn't matter what kind of cable is used. It's been proven in test after test that there's no difference in the sound, as long as the wires aren't undersized - i.e., don't use 20GA lamp cord between your 500W amplifier and speakers.

What is common mode output voltage?

I assume you're referring to an amplifier circuit. In a differential amplifier, there are two inputs. The common mode output voltage is the output voltage that will result from the same voltage being applied to both inputs. Typically this is very low, as the common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is very high in a differential amplifier. This is an ideal characteristic (high CMRR) as it means unwanted noise will not be amplified and potentially squelch out the desired signal; this is why a differential amplifier is used in high quality sound equipment. Three wires are used - a ground, and two signal wires that are opposite each other. Noise will inherently "hop on" the signal wires, but as they are close to one another, it is likely the noise will be nearly the same magnitude and sign on each wire. Since the amplifier CMRR is high, this noise does not propogate through the amplifier, while the original signal is amplified.

How do you connect two small not RCA wires from a sound system going throughout a building to an iPod docking station?

To connect your wires from a sound system running throughout a building to an iPod docking system, it really depends on the type of wires you are using. You might be able to use a coupler to connect non RCA wires.

How do you wire and after market radio to a 1998 Lexus GS 300?

With premium sound system you have to bypass the factory amplifier and pretty much splice into the factory wires after the amplifier. A good place for questions is the www.clublexus.com forums or the www.lexusownersclub.com forums. Search the forums and your question has already been addressed. Myself i have a 1999 gs400.
