Well, Cesar Chavez did a lot of sacrifices to become the great leader he was. He actually build a union for farm workers, which was something no one had ever done. By being the co-founder of the UFW he fought for the health benefits of the farmworkers.Thanks to him, farm-workers have clean drinking water, rest periods, handwashing stations, clothing that protects them against pesticide exposure, and the right of being well-paid.He actually protested in California for years so that one day someone lisened. From that day on, he had made a huge difference in the lives of all the migrant farm-workers and had become a civil rights hero.
