It may not have one. Rifles and shotguns made prior to 1968 were not required to have serial numbers.
There were several companies who made Montgomery Wards guns but most of them were made by Mossberg or Savage. Either way, if the gun is in reasonable & shot able condition, it is worth between $100.00 & 150.00 to a dealer.
