It is more about trying to ensure that there is a separation between church and state (which is the law), and that no-one gets stepped on because Religion is trying to pick on them or discriminate against them. ANI Answer I was in seattle yesterday broke and lonely, when a girl with an A.C.L.U. badge started talking to me about what the ACLU does, we had an amazing connection and we both agreed to not talk about the ACLU. After a long an enjoyable conversation she digressed and talked about some of the neat things that come with joining the ACLU, Like talking to interesting people on the street, and getting paid to do it. In conclusion if you are in a town for a couple weeks it is an easy place to get a job and make a little bit of money. They have lenient hours and pay pretty damn well.
