Jews, homosexualls, gypsies, mentally handicapped, and other "enemies" of the Nazis
Some people helped individuals during the Holocaust. Nobody tried to 'prevent the Holocaust' - even the Allies did not try to do that.
I don't really think that question can be answered, because nobody counted how many of a certain profession died in the holocaust, that's like saying "How many Doctors died during the holocaust?", there isn't really an answer to the question but it could of been many due to the fact that many adults died during the holocaust and some of them could of been clowns...
Many, many, non-Jews were persecuted during the Holocaust. Some of Hitler's other main targets were Jehovah's Witnesses, Gypsies, the disabled, and homosexuals. Millions of Soviets and Poles died during the Holocaust as well.
Some of the people that were hiding in the Holocaust died, while others were sent to concentration camps. Though brutal, some Jews survived.

generally walls fences and guards.
Not many, there were some who were held in 'starvation cells' and others in the prison blocks may well have died through lack of water.
Presumably you are referring to the fact that some Jews blamed the Holocaust on those Jews who were not pious enough.
6,000,000 people died in the holocaust. Although they were not all Jews, some were Greek Jews, homosexuals, or anybody who stood up against the Nazis. These are all of the people i know of to be killed but i am pretty sure there are more types of people who died.
dying
some of them did the persecuting, others tried to make sure that they did not become one of the persecuted. Others lived their lives oblivious to the Holocaust.
Not very many people survived. Nobody knows the exact number but about, 1 in 10 survived which is an estimated.___Less then 1% of the people survived the Holocaust.___One of the problems is that there is no agreed definition of Holocaust survivor. However, please see the related question, which gives a figure of about 200,000.Approximately 3,546,211 people survived the holocaust if one is referring to the number of Jews. The actual number of people cannot be accounted for in that case.
