Some well-known Greek heroes of ancient mythology include Hercules, Achilles, Odysseus, and Perseus. These heroes were celebrated for their strength, courage, and unique exploits in various myths and legends.
Of course heroes are in reallife. They are cops, firefighters, security guards and military soldiers. These are well known as real heroes.
Some well-known national heroes of the Philippines have significant nicknames. Dr. José Rizal, the national hero, is often referred to as "The Pride of the Malayan Race" and "The National Martyr." Andres Bonifacio is called the "Father of the Philippine Revolution," while Emilio Aguinaldo is known as the "First President of the Philippines." These nicknames reflect their contributions to the country's fight for independence and national identity.

The legendary or classicalhero's were considered to have godlike qualities and great powers, there were often helped in their endeavors by gods or other heroes. Hercules is one of the most well known ancient hero. Today's heroes however are different in the fact that they have gone from the solemn, proud, noble looking to looking like an athlete on steroids with supernatural abilities!!
Confederate General Robert E. Lee, Union General Ulysses S. Grant, and Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson are some of the great military civil war heroes. There are other less well-known (but still important) generals and military men, too.
Persephone can be just or cruel: that she is kind to heroes and lovers is well known, but lesser so is that she too commands the Furies of the Underworld.
