Missions are earned by performing community actions such as greeting new contributors, delivering special occasion greetings, congratulations, participating in community events sponsored by the WikiGuides, and many more fun activities.

A Royal WikiGuide is a WikiGuide who has completed 250 - 499 missions in the Community Outreach program.
Who gives out Community Outreach credits?
As a WikiGuide completes various Community Actions they complete missions. These missions accrue and when the WikiGuide has completed the required amount of missions they move up a status level. There are currently 4 levels - Noble (50-249 missions), Royal (250-499 missions), Imperial (500-1499 missions), and Sovereign (1500+ missions). WikiGuides accept missions on the Community Outreach home page. When they complete the chosen mission, they receive their credits, which are recorded in the CO records by the program coordinator.
How do you become a Royal WikiGuide?
You first have to become a WikiGuide. When you have completed 50 missions you become a Noble WikiGuide, and then when you have completed 250 missions you become a Royal WikiGuide. The personal benefits to be gained by a WikiGuide far outweigh any other reason for joining Community Outreach. WikiGuides gain self-esteem and great satisfaction for going out into the community, mingling, welcoming new contributors, making friends, and helping create and maintain a warm and friendly community environment. In doing so, they gain recognition on the site for their efforts. Our Status Levels provide each WikiGuide with goal-setting opportunities that each can work toward on his or her own with no competition. Incoming volunteer WikiGuides receive a WikiGuide badge.
