The characters are the same. Wicked's about Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda before Dorothy's house dropped in. You only see Dorothy's silhouette in Wicked. Also, Wicked is centered around the friendship of the Wicked Witch (Elphaba) and Glinda.
the wicked man is one who ignores the need for God in his heart, and thus becomes an ungodly--or wicked--man...whose ways get progressively worse.
"Wicked" has not been made into a movie, although Universal Studios owns the rights to wicked. It has been said that Wicked will be made into a motion picture, but not for a couple more years.
Henry VIII probably did not consider himself to be wicked, and so would have few regrets.
Well Wicked is sort of about wat happend in oz before Dorothy and toto, ect. It includes characters, most of them might be familure to you, such as the wicked witch of the west and G(a)linda and a few others, but some characters are new. -x-x-x-x-x- Wicked is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West and her friendship with G(a)linda the Good. It's about how she came to be "wicked" and why she is green, about her frienship and love, and tells how the tinman got turned to tin, why the scarecrow became a scarecrow, and why the lion is cowardly. The story show characters in a different light than the Wizard of Oz does, showing Elphaba(the wicked witch of the west) as more of a protaganist and the Wizard of Oz as more of an antagonist.

The musical 'Wicked' is based on the novel 'Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West' by Gregory Maguire [b. June 9, 1954]. Many of its characters are drawn from the original 1900 book edition by Lyman Frank Baum [May 15, 1856-May 6, 1919], and the beloved 1939 film version, of 'The Wizard of Oz'.
