Is there a style that has Celtic and goth?
Eh, there are some folk bands with goth influences, but no goth bands that heavily incorporate Celtic styles. If you're looking for an Irish goth band, try The Virgin Prunes. There are however some medieval bands, folk bands, and coldwave bands that incorporate a slight goth influence, but I can't name any that have Celtic style off the top of my head. Try looking up Opera Multi Steele, traditional French styles fused with Synthesizers and ambient.

As well as the punk splinter groups (the Oi! and Anarcho movements), there was the Ska revival, the Mod revival, the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, the fledgling Industrial sound, the so-called "Futurist" movement, New Romantic, Psychobilly and a bewildering array of "post-punk" bands. Out of this peculiar mixture, the early goth bands gradually emerged. Of course, at first they weren't termed "goth" bands, though some of them were referred to as "gothic" in musical style as early as 1979.

The songs they listen to are mock recordings of famous goth bands (Bauhaus, seen as 'Blauhaus' in a poster located in the goth girls room), and an industrial band called 'Skinny Puppy'. Because of the misconception of death metal=Goth, a lot of people assume the goth kids from the show listen to metal, but not once in the entire series do they mention metal, let alone listen to it.

Also, just because a goth person is listening to it, doesn't make it goth. Just because a goth kid is listening to Lady Gaga, doesn't make it goth now, does it? For the most part, popular genres other than goth rock popular amongst the subculture are: Post-punk (The Smiths, Echo and the Bunnymen), New Wave (Duran Duran, Depeche Mode), Psychobilly (Demented Are Go, The Meteors), Deathrock (Christian Death, 45 Grave), and Punk (Sex Pistols, Crass).
Are good Charlotte punk?
They aren't goth, emo, or punk. Goth music is more dark rock...like, you know Siouxsie and the Banshees? That's more of a goth band. Emo music is music with really deep emotional lyrics, like Evanescence or Flyleaf. And punks, they're about being rebellious, outrageous, offensive...so, yeah, they don't really listen to mainstream bands (e.g. Foo Fighters), preppy bands (e.g. Jonas Brothers), and/or bands that are obviously trying to copy other bands (e.g. We Are The Fallen). Punk bands are more like Sex Pistols. So, no...Good Charlotte is more of an alternative rock band.
