Paul founded many of the early New Testament Churches. He taught the churches what he had received from the Lord. He guided and corrected the early churches. Paul also prayed for the many New Testament churches.

No. When things go wrong, the Church will inevitably bear some of the responsibility if it is closely involved in government. Moreover, there is no one Church. Whichever Church has the most influence in government will be resented by members of other Churches. Finally, if the Church seeks to influence government, sooner or later government will seek to influence the Church.
Reformed Churches are typically less conservative and are open to more modern ideas like evolution. While traditional churches focus on the word of God as being "revealed through scripture" with absolute truth, reformed churches focus more on it's practical application and how it fits with modern secular belief.
The Southern Baptist Convention is by far the most Conservative Baptist Denomination. But just like anything else in life there are individual member churches who may be more Liberal. The best thing to do is pick a church and attend a couple of services and then decide for yourself.
