One would have to say that Hindus believe their creation story ...
The Baha'i Faith definitely believes in God's creation of the universe and this planet, but it also believes that science and religion must agree since both are from God. In those areas where they disagree, one must be in error. For this reason, creation as shown in Genesis should be viewed with an eye toward each "day" symbolizing each geological "age" of this Earth's evolution.

The current seven days of the week were popularised by the Romans, but the very reason we count a week as seven days is because of the account of the early chapters of Genesis. Sunday was traditionally the first day of the week amongst God's people, so day 1 would correspond to a Sunday of our calendar.
In the Catholic understanding of the seven days of creation, God created the world in a structured sequence. On the first day, He created light, separating it from darkness. The second day saw the creation of the sky, followed by the emergence of land and vegetation on the third day. On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars; on the fifth day, He filled the waters with living creatures and the skies with birds; on the sixth day, He created land animals and humanity in His image. Finally, on the seventh day, God rested, sanctifying it as a day of rest.

God chooses the number seven to be the only perfect number. There are seven days in the creation of the universe. The seventh day was one to rest and take in the joy of what has been created. (The book of Genesis) The number seven in both New and Old Testaments means the same as perfection. This comes from the creation story which is put into a seven day framework to emphasize the perfection of God's creation and the most perfect day of the week was the seventh day, the Sabbath. Throughout the Bible, there will be examples of the number 7 used this same way. In the new testament, one of the apostles asks Jesus if he has to forgive his brother 7 times and Jesus answers: I say seventy times seven times. This would mean an infinite number.
In the Jewish and Christian creation story found in the Book of Genesis, God created the world in six days. Each day involved the creation of different aspects of the universe, culminating in the creation of humanity on the sixth day. On the seventh day, God rested, marking it as a day of rest. Thus, the total creation process took seven days.
