Two Wrights made a Biplane. The first documented successful flight of a biplane was by the Wright Brothers in 1903. However, the concept of the biplane had been around longer this. Many competing designers were working on biplane designs and building them before this. It's hard to pin down when the very first one was built. But you should credit the Wright Flyer as the first successful biplane.
