In the Catholic Church the Holy Father has issued an infallible ruling that women CAN NOT be ordained, much less consecrated as Bishops. This is not a ruling that says we MAY not do it, but that we are incapable of it, Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, never gave us that authority or power.
