No need to change sizes with winter specialty tires. If your vehicle came with p235/75r15 tires, you can install the same size in a winter tire. Congrats on selecting a superior traction tire for safe winter driving, I suggest looking into the Nokian line of winter specialty tires if they are available in your area.

Yes, that's a reasonable swap.
I have a 2000 venture and the traction control light came on. Where do I look first, hubs. Wiring.
I just put Michelin P215 60 HR 16 Primacy MXV4 tires on our 2004 Sebring Convertible GTC with stock wheels. Car drives and handles much better.
Kelly-Springfield. Cheaper than Chinese tires and made from better rubber that doesn't dry-rot. I found that out the hard way when a chinese piece of junk came apart while my wife was driving. Four Kellys are almost $100 cheaper than the asian tires, too.
Radial tires came about in the '70's, and have an interior tube, as opposed to the older tires, which were solid rubber.
My first Ford Explorer , a 1993 XLT model , came with Firestone ATX all terrain radial tires ( P235 / 75 / R15 )
