All right, here's a basic answer: the Clan leader says something like, "From this day forward, until he/she has earned his/her warrior name, this apprentice will be called (kits apprentice's name)." Okay, when a kit becomes and apprentice the Clan leader will say something like: "From this day forward, (kit's name) has earned his/her Warrior name, (kit's name) will be called kit's name with paw on the end instead of kit. They will get their mentor assigned to them, and lick their shoulder. All the cats then start chanting the new apprentice's name, and the other apprentices help the new apprentice settle into their new den.
