Adine Rachael Wilson (Born in New Zealand, June 8th 1979) is a current member of the Silver Ferns (New Zealand national team) and is captain. Althugh mainly playing GS earlier in her career, she now plays mainly WA and is known for her good sportsmanship, dodging, passing, fast reflexes. She was captain during the Silver Ferns gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and also captained the Silver Ferns at the latest World Netball Chamionships, where the Silver Ferns won silver. She debuted for the Ferns in 1999 at just 19 years of age. She started her playing career as a shooter, moving to the mid-court to concentrate on the Wing Attack position in the past few years. She is a former NZU21 Captain, who took part in the 1996 and 2000 World Youth Cups. She is now married to former All Blacks' Jeff Wilson and they had their first child in 2008. Professionally, Adine is a lawyer.
