nope it dosent i was just a unique and diffrent way to show candy and so you could hang them it does not represnet that at all please excuse my spelling.... ANSWER: The first historical reference to the candy cane goes back to 1670, when a choirmaster in Germany bent sugar candy sticks into canes to represent a shepherd's staff. The all-white candy canes were given out to children to keep them occupied during the long-winded nativity services. The clergymens' custom of handing out candy canes during Christmas services spread throughout Europe and later to America. The canes were still white, but sometimes the candy-makers would add sugar roses to decorate the canes. The first historical reference to the candy cane being used as a decoration in America goes back to 1847, when a German immigrant named August Imgard decorated the Christmas tree in his Wooster, Ohio home with candy canes. The first striped canes didn't come about until closer to the turn of the century.
First, you go to Lolasia and beet all Kappas and get the invitation letter, after cutscene, goto Akiba and go to the entrance. After the cutscene, you will be in the tournament.
The very first candy canes were white and not bent. They were sugar canes, and did not taste like peppermint. They then were bent to look like shepherd's crooks. So they were in the familiar form we recognize today, but without stripes. Later, the peppermint flavor was added.
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Founded in 1911 in Indiana. The Bloods were founded around 1972 (I could be wrong but not far off) in LA.
Kappa Alpha Psi was the FIRST FRAT to Wear a Kane as it represented being a Gentlemen. Phi Beta Sigma may have been the first to STEP with them, but KAPsi was the first to have the kanes....Since 1911.
It's a symbol of Christ first name Jesus his j stand the reason behind the canes. The Cane is also a memorial symbol for the last surviving founder who use to walk with a cane. Th above answer, while very nice, is inaccurate. That is the reason for the candy cane and not the Kappa cane. The Kappa cane is directly related to helping the women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. When SGR was established in Indiana at Butler, it was still a time of great racial strife and bigotry against minorities. SGR was comprised of professional women in education. The notion that these black women had the audacity to try and establish a greek letter organization really stuck in the craw of some of the more ignorant members of the community around Butler. The SGR founders were sometimes threatened with physical violence if they continued to pursue the dream of establishing their sisterhood. The nearby Kappas took it upon themselves to be real gentlemen and escort these ladies to class to deter any further assaults on the ladies. As black men in what is essentially a southern small town, they could not obviously carry weapons. However, a true gentleman always carries his walking stick. It was quite handy for strolling the campus with a lady on your arm, swatting away dogs or useful as a deterrent if need be. The Kappas let those in opposition to SGR's establishment know that they would brook no nonsense when it came to the safety of these ladies. It became a regular sight to see Kappas with their canes. It still holds true today.
It's from Step Up 2: The Streets. It is when Moose first meets Andie, he takes a bite of the tofu dog and sings, "tastes like candy canes at christmas"
First of all the question should state, "Do Asian people eat candy canes for Christmas?" The answer is only 1/3 of Asians celebrate Christmas so 3/4 of Asians don't even celebrate the holiday. Those who do celebrate Christmas do eat candy canes unless they are alergic or do not enjoy the candy.
