Napoleon Total War has Napoleons campaigns and battles which are fun, but in the Grand Campaign there are only 4 playable factions: France, Great Britain, Russia, and Prussia. Empire Total War doesn't have the special campaigns but it's Grand Campaign allows for MANY more playable factions and will last you a lot longer.

Third age total war is a mod (moderation) for medieval 2 total war kingdoms. If you are a fan of the lord of the rings trilogy and you like the real time strategy the creative accembly offer then you will really enjoy it. There is also the lord of the rings total war which is basically the same but in the style of Rome total war (but it has no fellowship campaign, as third age total war does). The choice is yours which mod you download. Personally, I would go for third age total war because it has the fellowship campaign which is very good. Also, the actual film itself is set in medieval culture. I hope this helps in some way, cya!
