Who conquered death for us?
The Lord Jesus Christ, The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords!!
His empty tomb. Through His resurrection, we no longer have to fear death, because He...my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (and I hope your Lord and Savior) conquered death. He has saved us from ourselves, and saved us from death. We WILL die, BUT we don't have to fear it, and I know I'm saved, and I know I'm going to heaven.

First, his followers did not proclaim him as messiah. He called himself the messiah. Second, the most important event in Jesus' ministry is his death on the cross. He took the punishment of all mankind (Punishment for sins is death. Sins are what we call a bad deed or wrong-doing.) and conquered death in the process. He rose again 3 days later to prove he conquered death.

Finally the Persian Empire conquered the Babylonian Empire, then Alexander of Macedonia conquered the entire area but split into three parts after Alexander's death. Finally the Roman Empire conquered the three splinters of Alexander's Empire.
