Color Symphony is a display of colors in accordance to symphonic music and was created by synesthetes, or people with the rare disorder, if you will, Synesthesia. Synesthesia is a disorder in which the person's senses get mixed together, so sound with sight, taste with sight, etc. A synesthete may describe a certain musical note like c# as yellow or even see letters in a different color than they are printed! Many scientists believe that this disorder is from how they were raised, so if they were raised upon watching Fantasia (written and directed by Wault Disney, who was, in fact, a synesthete) they might see different colors when listening to different instruments or sounds. If the letters on the fridge were different colors, they might even mix those up later on in life!
