Interchangeable parts was the idea of if one specific part of an invention broke, the full invention would-not have to be fixed, only the part that was broken, by putting a new part in

RV AC units are interchangeable. This is true as long as you replace the whole unit and not just one part.
Interchangeable parts created an opportunity for the public to keep items they had and repair only what was needed. Through this process, people with specific skill sets for creating these interchangeable parts became necessary. More jobs were created as a result.

Before the introduction of interchangeable parts an item was useless when it broke. Guns were a perfect example of this problem. A part in a gun had to be made from scratch to fit that particular gun. Today, a part breaks and you can get another one that will work as well as the first. You don't have to wait 6 months for a part and then not have it work. Interchangeable parts changed production and allowed for items to be used for longer times.
Eli Whitney thought of the idea of interchangeable parts. The idea is that if something is broken it can be replaces by an identical piece.
The interchangeable part for a 1994 Mustang window crank handle would be a 1991 to 1993 Mustang window crank handle. This part can also be found at some salvage yards for automobile parts.
He invented interchangeable parts
it's called "interchangeable parts"
Yes very much. Without interchangeable parts most things would have to be made from scratch. Interchangeable parts allows for a part to be replaced without having to rebuild the entire item. Imagine cars without interchangeable parts.
