The Coca-Cola Company was founded by John Pemberton. However, John's bookkeeper, Frank Mason Robinson, was the person who created logo for Coke, the short and usual name of the company, in 1885. That first logo is still in use nowadays with some more or less modifications .

The core logo has remained largely unchanged since then, except a brief period in 1890-1891 when it was replaced with what can only be described as a "more swirly" variant.
